Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Site Check, a free tool run by CherryRank. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

You type a website address. Site Check reads a small number of public pages of that site and produces a plain-language report and a PDF about how search engines and AI assistants see it. It is free, and it needs no account, no email address and no payment.

These limits keep the tool free and running for everyone:

• Each visitor can start 3 fresh scans per hour and 10 per day.
• Each website is scanned at most once per day. Anyone else who asks for it that day gets the stored result.
• A global daily cap applies to fresh scans across all visitors.

We may adjust these limits over time. When a limit stops a scan, we tell you why.

Use Site Check only on websites you own or run, or that you have a good-faith reason to check. Please do not:

• try to overload the scanner, our servers, or the website being scanned;
• get around the limits above, for example by hiding who you are to start more scans;
• automate submissions with scripts or bots;
• scan a website that is on our opt-out list;
• reverse engineer, tamper with or bypass the human check.

If these rules are broken, we may block access or pause scanning for the visitor responsible.

The scanner makes a small, bounded number of requests and identifies itself honestly to servers. If you own a website and do not want it scanned, write to info@cherryrank.com from an address on the site’s domain and we add the site to our block list, which also covers its subdomains.

The report is an automated opinion. It is not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, or whether search engines or AI assistants will recommend your business.

Websites change, a scan can miss things, and AI assistants behave differently over time. Treat the report as a good starting point, and ask a professional before you act on anything that matters a lot.

Site Check is provided free and as available. We may change, limit, pause or stop the scanner at any time, for example for maintenance, when the daily cap is reached, or when we see abuse. Result links work until the scan is deleted, which happens 30 days after it runs.

The report we make for your scan is yours to use and share, including with colleagues and clients. Anything quoted in it from a scanned website still belongs to whoever owns that website.

The Site Check website, its design, text and software belong to CherryRank or its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, and nothing more than that.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer right that cannot be waived.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, Site Check is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on a report, for lost profit, revenue, traffic or rankings, or for indirect or consequential loss.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest change, and we note significant changes on the page. If you keep using Site Check after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you use Site Check as a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and nothing here takes them away.
